The carrier also won the World's Best Value Premium Economy award for the second consecutive year.

These accolades highlight the airline's consistent quality and exceptional service across its entire network, regardless of flight distance or class. The retention of the World's Best Value Premium Economy title underscores its excellence in this segment.

Sharon Petersen, CEO of AirlineRatings, praised Viet Nam Airlines for its perfect balance of quality and value, stating that since January 14, 2025, it has expanded its premium economy class to domestic routes, offering passengers enhanced privileges.

Viet Nam Airlines serves 22 domestic destinations and 35 international destinations in 20 countries and territories, as of February 2025.

The national flag carrier was estimated to transport 22.7 million passengers in 2024, up 8 percent from 2023. Cargo volume was projected to rise by 40 percent to 314,700 tons.

Each aircraft in the fleet is operating an average of 11 hours daily, a 25 percent increase.

Earlier, Viet Nam Airlines ranked the 6th most punctual airline in Asia-Pacific by Cirium, a leader in aviation analytics.
