VGP - Below are major policies scheduled to take effect from October 1, 2023.
VGP - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has decided to set up two Regional Coordinating Councils (RCC) for the Mekong Delta Region and the Northern Mountainous and Midland Region.
VGP - VGP – The Government on Monday decided to increase temporary residence of citizens from 13 countries to 45 days from current 15 days.
VGP – The Government has decided to issue e-visas to all foreign arrivals at 52 ports of entry from August 15, according to its Resolution No. 127/NQ-CP dated August 14, 2023.

VGP - The Government has approved the master plan on exploration, exploitation, processing, and use of mineral resources for the 2021 – 2030 period, with a vision to 2050.
VGP - The Government has decreed that preferential allowance for people with meritorious services to the revolution in Viet Nam shall be increased to VND 2,055,000 (US$ 86) from VND 1,624,000 (US$ 69).
VGP - The Embassy of Viet Nam in Israel on July 23 organized a ceremony to mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries (July 12, 1993-July 12, 2023).
VGP - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has signed a decision approving the national infrastructure plan for oil and gas reserves and supply for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.
VGP - The Government has issued a Resolution on improving the efficiency of international economic integration and promoting rapid and sustainable economic development in the period of 2023-2030.
VGP – From July 1, 2023, pensions, social insurance benefits, and monthly allowances shall be increased by 12.5 percent to 20.8 percent from July 1, 2023, according to the Government’s Decree No. 42/2023/ND-CP.
VGP - The National Assembly has approved the Government’s proposal to increase the validity of e-visas for foreigners to 90 days from the current 30 days.
VGP - Viet Nam will have 30 airports, including 14 international airports by the end of this decade, according to the Government's newly-approved master plan for the development of national airports by 2030, with a vision to 2050.
VGP - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has recently signed Decision 12/2023/QD-TTg on order and procedures for granting certificates of technologies encouraged for transfer in Viet Nam from July 1, 2023.
