Viet Nam wins 6 medals at 2023 Int'l Mathematical Olympiad
VGP - All 6 Vietnamese students participating in the 2023 International Math Olympiad won medals, including 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze medals, according to the Ministry of Education and Training.

Two gold medals belonged to Pham Viet Hung from High School for Gifted Students under the Ha Noi University of Natural Sciences, Viet Nam National University (Ha Noi National University), and Nguyen An Thinh from Tran Phu Gifted High School, Hai Phong.
Two silver medalists were Hoang Tuan Dung from High School for Gifted Students, Ha Noi National University of Education and Nguyen Dinh Kien from Tran Phu Gifted High School, Hai Phong.
Meanwhile Khuc Dinh Toan from Bac Ninh High School for Gifted, and Tran Nguyen Thanh Danh from VNU-HCM High School for the Gifted won bronze medals.
The results placed Viet Nam in the sixth position out of the 112 participating teams.
The 2023 International Mathematical Olympiad was held in Japan from July 2 to 12 with the participation of 625 contestants from 112 countries and regions. The Organizing Committee awarded 315 medals, including 53 Gold Medals, 89 Silver Medals, and 173 Bronze Medals.
That the excellent Vietnamese national team ranked high at the 2023 International Mathematical Olympiad has affirmed the position of Vietnamese education./.
