Pham expressed his pleasure to meet President Macron again, affirming Viet Nam attaches importance to further advancing the relations with France. He suggested both countries continue to maintain the exchange of delegations, especially high-level ones, expressing his wish that President Macron would soon visit Viet Nam.
The Prime Minister conveyed the greetings from General Secretary To Lam, State President Luong Cuong and other senior Vietnamese leaders to President Macron.

The two leaders compared notes on extreme weather and climate change situation around the world. Macron extended his deep sympathies to the Vietnamese people over the loss of lives and property caused by recent natural disasters in the Southeast Asian nation. The two sides underscored the need to strengthen cooperation to mitigate and overcome the serious consequences of climate change.
Macron recalled his good impressions during his visit to Viet Nam last May, noting that the agreements reached during the visit have been effectively implemented. He agreed that both countries should work together to soon finalize and adopt an action program to implement the Viet Nam-France comprehensive strategic partnership.
Prime Minister Pham suggested France continue close coordination with Viet Nam in implementing the EU-Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), adopt the EU-Viet Nam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA), and push for early removal of the EC's "yellow card" warning against Vietnamese seafood exports.
On multilateral cooperation, the two leaders shared the common viewpoints on global trade landscape and non-traditional security challenges, particularly cybersecurity challenges, and agreed to foster cooperation in this domain.
Given the current context, President Macron emphasized that both countries should enhance solidarity, close cooperation, and strategic autonomy while collaborating with partners to rally support for multilateralism and international law./.
