Leaders of foreign countries and international organizations extended their condolences and deep sympathies to the people of Viet Nam for the loss of life and property caused by natural disasters.

During his meeting with Brazilian President Lula da Silva, the two leaders expressed delight at the robust development of the Viet Nam–Brazil relations since the two countries upgraded their ties to a Strategic Partnership.

President Silva affirmed that Brazil attaches special importance to relations with Viet Nam, expressing his hope to further deepen the Viet Nam–Brazil Strategic Partnership, particularly in the areas of economy and trade.

The two leaders vowed to further facilitate investment and trade, open their agricultural markets to each other's products, and work toward the early launch and conclusion of negotiations on a Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) between Viet Nam and the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR).

The leaders also agreed to strengthen agricultural cooperation, particularly in coffee production and export.

At his meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime Minister Pham affirmed that Viet Nam always attaches importance to strengthening its friendship and cooperation with Turkey.

President Erdoğan stated that Turkey considers Viet Nam an important partner in Asia.

The two leaders emphasized that both countries have significant potential to elevate their relations to new heights. They vowed to soon realize the trade goal of US$4 billion, while also exploring the establishment of new frameworks to further facilitate trade and investment, including promoting a bilateral Free Trade Agreement.

During the meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, the two leaders hailed the efforts of ministries and sectors of both countries in implementing cooperation areas, contributing to deepening the Viet Nam–Malaysia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Ibrahim voiced support for the Vietnamese leader's proposal for both sides to soon sign a deal on the development of the Halal industry and effectively implement the Memorandum of Understanding on defense cooperation.

Pham took the occasion to call on the two sides to strengthen maritime cooperation, share comprehensive information regarding fishing vessels and fishermen, and ensure humane treatment of Vietnamese fishing vessels and fishermen detained in Malaysia's waters, in the spirit of humanitarianism and in line with the relations between the two countries.

At his meeting with Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Rakan, both sides expressed delight at the strong development of bilateral relations, marked by the historic upgrade to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership during General Secretary To Lam's visit to Indonesia in March 2025, with economic cooperation as a highlight.

The Indonesian Vice President noted that both sides would actively work to develop an action program to implement the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for the 2025–2030 period and facilitate market access for each other's goods and agricultural products.

Pham proposed that the two countries enhance cooperation in economy, trade, investment, agriculture, and other potential areas such as digital economy, green transition, and energy, with the determination to soon achieving the target of US$18 billion in bilateral trade.

The two leaders emphasized the importance of joining hands with other ASEAN countries to promote multilateralism, cooperation, solidarity, and ASEAN's central role, while maintaining and strengthening ASEAN's principled stance on the East Sea issue and other regional and international matters of mutual concern.

At his meeting with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Khaled bin Mohamed Al Nahyan, Pham stated that the two sides should actively coordinate to organize the UAE–Viet Nam Investment Conference in Viet Nam, slated for April 2026, and expand cooperation in trade, investment, defense, food security, and the Halal industry.

He urged the UAE to increase investment and support Viet Nam in developing the international financial center in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, and accelerate the early launch of negotiations on a Viet Nam–GCC Free Trade Agreement.

Crown Prince Khaled bin Mohamed Al Nahyan affirmed that the UAE attaches great importance to developing comprehensive cooperation with Viet Nam, one of the UAE's key trade and investment partners in Southeast Asia.

The Crown Prince agreed with the Prime Minister's proposals to strengthen cooperation in economy, trade, investment, finance, science and technology, defense, and tourism.

At his meeting with World Bank (WB) President Ajay Banga, the Prime Minister reiterated that Viet Nam treasures the WB's active and effective support over the years, affirming the Vietnamese Government's determination to achieving its strategic development goals.

He called on the WB to assist Viet Nam in securing additional resources to implement economic development programs, and cooperate with Viet Nam to promote large-scale and transformative projects in strategic infrastructure, climate change response, and other key areas to help the nation successfully achieve its development objectives.

Banga expressed his admiration for Viet Nam's economic development achievements, expressing his confidence that Viet Nam will translate its growth targets into reality.

He affirmed the WB's support and advisory assistance to help Viet Nam ensure fast and sustainable development.

Meeting with WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Prime Minister Pham underlined that Viet Nam always advocates an open, transparent, fair, and rules-based multilateral trading system with the WTO at its center.

Okonjo-Iweala praised Viet Nam's economic development achievements, welcoming the nation's continued support for the multilateral free trading system and its backing of WTO reform./.
