President Luong Cuong pays state visit to Laos
VGP - President Luong Cuong is set to pay a State visit to Laos from April 24-25 at the invitation of General Secretary of the Laos People's Revolutionary Party and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Viet Nam and Laos established diplomatic ties in 1962, and the two countries have since maintained the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation through reciprocal visit exchanges, helping to increase their political trust and outline future cooperation orientations.
In 2024, the two-way trade turnover surpassed the US$2.2 billion mark, up 33.9 percent compared to the previous year.
Viet Nam is the third largest foreign investor in Laos, with 241 valid projects totaling approximately US$5.5 billion./.
