Construction begins on Trump Organization's US$1.5 billion golf club in Viet Nam
VGP - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and U.S. President Donald Trump's son Eric on Wednesday attended the ground-breaking ceremony of a US$1.5 billion luxury residential development with three 18-hole golf courses in Hung Yen province.

The Khoai Chau urban, eco-tourism, and golf complex project covers an area of nearly 1,000 hectares.
It includes a 54-hole VIP golf course system, luxury resorts, high-end villas, a modern urban complex, and various internationally standard amenities.
This is the first project in Viet Nam under the Trump brand, which is expected to expected to help fully unlock the tourism potential of the Red River Delta region and become an iconic development, making a landmark in the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Viet Nam and the U.S.
Addressing the event, Pham emphasized the significance of this project, which plays an important role in deepening the Viet Nam–U.S. relationship towards a more substantive and effective manner.
It affirms the confidence of foreign investors, including U.S. investors, in Viet Nam, noted the Vietnamese leader, expressing his hope that the project will contribute to the rapid and sustainable development of Hung Yen and Viet Nam through world-class initiatives and help create jobs and improve livelihoods for local people.
Pham expressed his confidence that the project will achieve great success, bringing benefits to investors and serving the shared interests of both countries, making contributions to peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and around the world.
Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization Eric Trump said that Viet Nam is currently one of the most dynamic and promising markets in the world.
He said he is pride in bringing the Trump legacy to a nation with strong vision, vitality, and rapid growth, adding that this project is not merely a symbolic development, but also a tribute to culture and a lasting mark for Viet Nam's future.
He committed to completing the project in just over two years, making it the finest and most prestigious golf course in the region and the world./.
