Their congratulations come at a significant moment, as the two nations celebrate the 30th founding anniversary of diplomatic relations (1995–2025) and the second year of their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

The Vietnamese leaders reassured that Viet Nam regards the U.S. as a partner of strategic importance.

Highlighting significant strides in bilateral cooperation in recent years, they expressed their belief that under President Trump's leadership, the Viet Nam-U.S. ties will continue to thrive.

This growth is expected to be anchored in mutual respect for independence, sovereignty, and political systems, contributing to regional and global peace, stability, cooperation, and sustainable development.

On the same day, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan also sent a congratulatory message to U.S. Vice President James David Vance./.
