To congratulated Donald Trump upon his election as the 47th President of the U.S. and spoke highly of Trump's contributions to the development of the Viet Nam-U.S. relations.
He highlighted the positive outcomes of the Viet Nam-U.S. comprehensive strategic partnership over the recent past.
Viet Nam is ready to promote the stable and long-term development of the bilateral ties for the sake of the two peoples, as well as for regional and global peace, cooperation, and sustainable development, affirmed the General Secretary.
The U.S. President-elect expressed his delight to engage in discussions with the Vietnamese General Secretary and extended his greetings to the Vietnamese people.
He hailed the positive achievements of the relations between the two countries, saying that he attaches importance to the relations with Viet Nam, particularly economic cooperation.
