48th ASEAN Summit kicks off in Cebu
VGP - The 48th ASEAN Summit commenced today in Cebu, the Philippines with the participation of leaders of 11 ASEAN Member States.

During the Summit, the leaders will review the progress of building the ASEAN Community, with a focus on three priorities, including energy security, foood security, and protection of ASEAN citizens.
The regional leaders will also compare notes on regional and international issues of mutual interests and adopt more than 20 documents.
Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung is set to deliver remarks on Viet Nam's foreign policy as well as the country's viewpoints on ASEAN priorities at the Summit./.
