Viet Nam is Laos' second tourist source market
VGP - As many as 263,160 Vietnamese people visited Laos in the first three months of this year, making Viet Nam the second biggest source of foreign visitors to the neighboring country during the period.

The figure was announced by the Tourism Development of Lao Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism.
Last year, 837,632 Vietnamese tourists travelled to Laos, an increase of 133 percent compared to 2022 while the number of Laotian tourists to Viet Nam soared by 155 percent year on year.
Vientiane, Vang Vieng, and Luang Prabang all proved to be among the favorite tourist destinations for Vietnamese tourists.
Tourism cooperation has been a key pillar in Viet Nam-Laos relations in recent times. Tours between the two countries help people of both sides to gain greater insights into history and traditional culture, thereby fostering the Viet Nam-Laos special friendship in the time ahead./.
