Viet Nam Airlines among Top 10 best airlines

The national flag carrier shares the same position with Emirates of the United Arab Emirtaes as the two airlines score 5.16 points out of 10, said Bounce - a U.S. luggage storage company.

The company evaluated these airlines based on the following 10 indicators including on-time arrivals, percentage of cancellations, total number of flights, free carry-on allowance, free checked domestic allowance, free checked international allowance, meal, in-flight entertainment, seat comfort, and staff service.

In 2022, Viet Nam Airlines received many domestic and international awards, including the World's Leading Cultural Airline and Asia's Leading Airline - Economy Class of the World Travel Awards. It also had its air transport service recognized as a national brand by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the National Brand Council.

Japan Airlines is the highest-ranking international airline for 2023, with an overall score of 8.28. Japan Airlines scored a consistent 4 out of 5 across in-flight entertainment, meals, seat comfort, and staff service while also having one of the best records for on-time arrivals at 88.36%.

In addition to these impressive statistics, Japan Airlines also has a low level of flight cancellations at 1.56%, as well as one of the most generous baggage allowances. Economy class passengers are entitled to 10kg of carry-on luggage, in addition to 46kg of checked baggage for both domestic and international flights./.
