Top leader starts State visit to India
VGP - General Secretary and President of Viet Nam To Lam left Ha Noi on Tuesday morning for the State visit to India at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The top Vietnamese leader is accompanied by Chairman of the Central Organization Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Chairman of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Phan Van Giang, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang, along with other ministers and senior officials.
The visit is expected to create momentum for the two countries to shape the framework for bilateral cooperation in a new development phase.
The visit comes as the two countries continue to deepen their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership established in 2016.
Over the past decade, Viet Nam and India have continuously strengthened political trust while expanding practical cooperation across all spheres, including trade, investment, digital technology, energy, innovation and manufacturing./.
