Luong congratulated China on the achievements the nation has attained under the leadership of Xi Jinping.

The Party and State of Viet Nam always regard the development of relations with China as an objective necessity, a strategic choice, and a top priority in its foreign policy, reassured Luong.

He called on the two sides to effectively organize high-level visits, strengthen theoretical exchanges between the two Parties, and expand mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.

Xi, for his part, expressed his wishes that Viet Nam will successfully organize the 14th National Party Congress.

He reiterated that China attaches great importance to its relations with Viet Nam, and reaffirming China's readiness to foster stronger ties with Viet Nam across all areas.

The two leaders highly valued the positive progress in relations between the two Parties and the two countries. They vowed to continue strengthening all-level exchanges and contacts, consolidating political trust, promoting substantive cooperation, enhancing people-to-people exchanges, and advancing Viet Nam–China relations towards a stable, healthy, sustainable, and intensive manner.

The two sides also exchanged views on maritime issues and other international and regional matters of shared concern, pledging to continue managing and properly addressing differences, while jointly maintaining peace, stability, and development in the region./.
