State President Luong Cuong made the above statement while addressing a ceremony celebrating the 50th National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (December 2, 1975) and the 105th birth anniversary of President Kaysone Phomvihane (December 13, 1920) that took place in Ha Noi on November 27.
According to the State leader, the past 50 years have been a glorious and remarkable historical journey for the people of Laos.
The nation has overcome all difficulties and challenges, achieving many significant and outstanding accomplishments across all fields, with the prestige and international standing being continuously enhanced, noted Luong.
The life of President Kaysone Phomvihane is a shining symbol of patriotism, strategic intelligence, and selfless dedication to the people. His ideas, vision, and correct policies remain a valuable legacy and a guiding compass for the nation-building and development of Laos in the new era, stated the Vietnamese leader.

Regarding the bilateral ties, the State President emphasized that the agreements between the two Parties and the two countries have been effectively implemented, contributing to the development of each country and strengthening the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Viet Nam and Laos.
He expressed his belief that under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, headed by General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith, the nation will continue to achieve even greater victories in its nation-building and the Viet Nam-Laos relations will yield positive outcomes./.
