Singapore hosts official welcome ceremony for Politburo member Tran Cam Tu

Over more than half a century of development, the bilateral relations have remained a bright spot and become a model of successful cooperation within ASEAN.
Built on political trust, shared strategic visions and common interests, the bilateral ties have continued to grow strongly, from the establishment of the Strategic Partnership in 2013 to its elevation to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2025.
Alongside traditional areas of cooperation, the two countries are emerging as pioneering partners in new fields such as clean energy connectivity, digital transformation, innovation, high technology and green finance.
The first Viet Nam-Singapore Strategic Dialogue represents an early, concrete and urgent step in implementing agreements reached between the two Parties.
The Vietnamese leader's official visit to Singapore is expected to further deepen Viet Nam-Singapore relations, consolidate a strong political foundation, and promote comprehensive and substantive cooperation through Party, State and people-to-people channels.
It will also contribute to deepening the Viet Nam-Singapore Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, creating breakthroughs in science and technology cooperation, strategic-level cadre training, and mobilizing resources for national development.
Following the official welcome ceremony, the two sides co-chaired the first Viet Nam-Singapore Strategic Dialogue./.
