During a meeting with his Australian counterpart, Pham congratulated Australia's leaders and commended the Australian Labor Government for its achievements in governance, economic stability, social welfare, and national development.

The two Prime Ministers expressed satisfaction with the strong and effective progress of the bilateral relations, and agreed to promote high-level visits and exchanges through all channels, and strengthen coordination to contribute more actively and substantively to peace, stability, and cooperation in the region.

They agreed to step up high-level exchanges, security and defense cooperation — particularly in cybersecurity — and work toward lifting two-way trade to US$20 billion. Viet Nam welcomed Australia's increased investment and support for its priorities in science-technology, digital transformation, and human-resource development.

Albanese affirmed Australia always prioritizes relations with Viet Nam and will continue providing ODA, especially in climate adaptation, energy transition, digital transformation, and circular economy initiatives. Both sides also vowed to strengthen coordination through ASEAN-led mechanisms for regional peace and stability.

During his meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk, Pham expressed his delight that the two countries' leaders have maintained regular contacts, reaffirming that Viet Nam always attaches great importance to, and prioritizes, the substantive development of the Viet Nam–Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Both sides agreed to boost balanced trade and expand market access, particularly for agricultural products, and accelerate work to strengthen transport connectivity, including railway cooperation. They also pledged to speed up negotiations to launch construction of Viet Nam's first nuclear power plant as planned.

The Russian side committed to increase scholarships for Vietnamese students and both sides agreed to promote tourism and people-to-people exchanges./.
