The host expressed his satisfaction at the outstanding and comprehensive developments in the Viet Nam-South Korea relations in various spheres.
The two countries' relationship has been built up on the firm foundation of political trust, strong economic cooperation and people-to-people links, he noted, adding that cooperation between the two agencies have made positive progress.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two agencies, which is expected to be signed in the upcoming time, will be a milestone in two agencies' cooperation in the areas of mutual concern, To stated.
He spoke highly of the KCG's decision on providing Viet Nam with patrol ships, which demonstrates mutual support in the fight against cross-border crimes, and helps improve research and rescue capacity for Vietnamese police.
For his part, Kim pledged to urge the finalization of key cooperation contents between the two sides, and speed up the completion of procedures for handing over patrol ships for the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security.
Both sides agreed to actively carry out cooperation activities, organize training courses for Vietnamese waterway police, and exchange all-level delegations to put forth specific cooperation plans./.
