Viet Nam, South Korea strengthen cooperation in trans-national crime prevention

Minister To expressed his delight on the outcomes of the second phase of the project on improving criminal science capacity for Viet Nam which was funded by the NPA.

To further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two nations, in general, and between the two agencies, in particular, To suggested both sides continue to strengthen political trusts and maintain mutual support at international and regional forums. 

He underscored to need to boost collaboration across all sectors, particularly economics and trade and enhance cultural exchanges and people-to-people linkages to strengthen solidarity and mutual understanding. 

Both sides should enhance all-level delegation exchanges and foster collaboration in fields of trans-national crime prevention; forge coordination between their units and work together to ensure security and safety for each side's citizens to stabilize their lives, the host suggested. 

To recommended the NPA continue providing training courses for improving law enforcement capacity for Viet Nam in terms of investigating high-tech crimes and teaching Korean. 

For his part, Yoon Hee Keun asserted to do his utmost to step up collaboration between the two agencies, making crucial contributions to ensuring each side's national security and order./.
