Members of APEC 2027 National Committee named

Under the Decision, Pham named Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung as the Vice Chairman of the APEC 2027 National Committee.

Members of the Committee include:

(1) Minister of Science and Technology Vu Hai Quan;

(2) Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee's Office Dang Khanh Toan;

(3) Standing Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu, Chairman of APEC Senior Officials, and Head of the National APEC 2027 Secretariat; co-chair of the content sub-committee;

(4) Deputy Minister of National Defense Nguyen Truong Thang;

(5) Deputy Minister of Public Security Pham The Tung, Head of the Security and Health Sub-Committee;

(6) Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc;

(7) Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung;

(8) Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission Nguyen Van Phuong;

(9) Standing Deputy Minister of Health Vu Manh Ha;

(10) Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Luong Hoang Thai, co-chair of the content sub-committee;

The Committee shall be responsible for assisting the Prime Minister in directing and coordinating the subcommittees, the Secretariat, ministries, localities and other agencies in preparing for and hosting conferences and events during APEC Year 2027.

It has five subcommittees in charge of content, logistics, security and health, communications and culture, and protocol.

The Secretariat is the Committee's standing body, led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and operating at the direct helm of the Chairman. It includes representatives from the Government Office, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Industry and Trade./.
