Standing Deputy Prime Minister leads National Committee for APEC 2027
VGP - Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has assigned Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc as Chairman of the National Committee for APEC 2027.

Pham shall be assisted by Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung as the Vice Chairman.
Members of the Committee include Minister of Science and Technology Vu Hai Quan, Deputy Minister of National Defense Nguyen Truong Thang, Deputy Minister of Public Security Pham The Tung, Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilization Pham Tat Thang, Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Chairman of An Giang Province's People's Committee Ho Van Mung, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang and Ngo Le Van, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Office Nguyen Hoang Anh, Vice Chairmen of the Government Office Pham Manh Cuong and Don Tuan Phong, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vu Chien Thang, Deputy Minister of Construction Le Anh Tuan, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong, Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Hoang Trung, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Le Quan, Deputy Inspector General Nguyen Van Cuong and Vice Chairman of the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nguyen Quang Vinh.
The Committee shall assist the Prime Minister in directing and coordinating ministries, agencies and localities and relevant bodies in preparing for hosting events during the APEC Year 2027.
The Committee shall have five subcommittees in charge of contents, logistics, security and healthcare, communication and culture, and protocol and the Secretariat.
The APEC Forum 2027, themed "Connecting, building inclusive and resilient economies", will be held in the Phu Quoc special zone of the Southern province of An Giang.
This significant event will underscore Viet Nam's role in the region and offer an opportunity to promote the nation's image and standing on the international stage.
Concurrently, it presents a chance for Phu Quoc to emerge as a global hub for socio-economic partnerships and exchanges./.
