The Prime Minister delivered the message during a meeting in Ha Noi on October 9 with representatives of the business community ahead of Viet Nam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13).
Pham emphasized that Vietnamese enterprises and entrepreneurs should remain steadfast in following the Party's leadership, uphold the spirit of great national unity and international solidarity, and combine the nation's internal strength with the power of the times to advance sustainable development.
He urged businesses to stand side by side with the people, maintain the path toward national independence and socialism, and jointly build up the country's overall strength.
Particularly, the Prime Minister encouraged enterprises to take the lead in three pioneering areas:
(i) Science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation;
(ii) Law-abiding production and business activities that actively and effectively contribute to building a socialist rule-of-law State; and
(iii) Implementation of the Politburo's Resolution No. 68 on developing the private economic sector.
In response to proposals from the business community, Prime Minister Pham reaffirmed the Government's consistent stance on integrity, innovation, and proactive governance, always acting in service of the people and enterprises.
At the meeting, the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers presented numerous prestigious awards from the Party, State, and Government to outstanding entrepreneurs and businesses for their remarkable achievements.
According to the Ministry of Finance, in the first nine months of 2025, the country recorded over 231,000 newly established and reactivated firms, marking a 26.4 percent year-on-year increase. The total additional capital injected by operating enterprises reached VND3.3 quadrillion (approximately US$125.25 billion), up 186.5 percent from the same period last year.
As of October 5, Viet Nam was home to around one million active businesses nationwide./.
