Pham and Wong are among the four world leaders invited to attend the WEF Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Tianjin.

Pham expressed his pleasure to meet Wong again, saying Vietnamese ministries and agencies are actively realizing the outcomes of high-level visits between the two countries, including the developlopment of an action plan for the Viet Nam-Singapore Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for the 2025-2030 period.

The Vietnamese Prime Minister suggested Singapore promote cooperation with Viet Nam in such potential areas such as digital economy and green economy while building more Viet Nam-Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIPs) – a symbol of successful economic cooperation between the two countries.

He called on Singapore to further assist Viet Nam in training high-quality human resources in both short and long term.

Wong, for his part, agreed with the Vietnamese counterpart's proposals, expressing his wish to cooperate with Viet Nam in ensuring his country's food security.

Both sides agreed to further bolster bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially high-technology, renewable energy, sustainable urban development, cybersecurity, carbon credit, smart infrastructure; and promote the efficiency of the existing bilateral cooperation mechanisms.

The pairs showed their determination to further elevate the relationship between Viet Nam and Singapore to new heights.

The two sides also compared notes on several regional and international issues of common concern. Given the complicated and unpredictable situation, the two sides agreed to continue close coordination in maintaining ASEAN's solidarity and building strong ASEAN community for peace, stability and common interests of the region.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Pham invited Prime Minister Wong to attend the signing ceremony of the UN Convention against Cybercrime in Ha Noi in October this year./.
