Prime Minister Pham recalled the outcomes of Kasimalyev's official visit to Viet Nam last March and reaffirmed Viet Nam's commitment to deepening its traditional friendship with Kyrgyzstan. He noted that relevant Vietnamese ministries and agencies are actively working to implement the agreements reached during the visit.

Pham urged both sides to further strengthen economic and trade ties, emphasizing the need to develop air, rail, and logistics links to better connect Viet Nam with Kyrgyzstan and the wider Central Asian region.

Pham took the occasion to convey a letter from President Luong Cuong inviting the President of Kyrgyzstan to attend the signing ceremony of the UN Convention on Countering the Use of Information and Communications Technologies for Criminal Purposes—informally known as the "Ha Noi Convention"—scheduled for October 2025 in the Vietnamese capital.

In reply, Prime Minister Kasimalyev welcomed Pham's proposals, particularly the establishment of a Viet Nam–Kyrgyzstan Intergovernmental Committee within the year. He encouraged Vietnamese enterprises to explore investment opportunities in Kyrgyzstan and affirmed support for expanding bilateral trade.

The two sides also agreed to bolster comprehensive political dialogue at all levels, including closer collaboration among their respective governments, ministries, and localities. Both leaders pledged to ensure the effective implementation of high-level agreements and to continue fostering mutual understanding and multifaceted cooperation between the peoples of the two countries./.
