Vietnamese, Australian PMs witness exchange of cooperation instruments
VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese witnessed the exchange of cooperation instruments between Viet Nam and Australia following their summit meeting in Ha Noi on Sunday.
The exchange of the Memorandum of Understanding on science, technology and innovation cooperation between Viet Nam's Ministry of Science and Technology and Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The exchange of the Memorandum of Understanding on establishment of ministerial-level dialogue on trade between Viet Nam and Australia between Viet Nam's Ministry of Industry and Trade and Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The exchange of the Memorandum of Understanding on exchange of information on money laundering and terrorism financing between the State Bank of Viet Nam (SBV) and Australia Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (AUSTRAC).
The exchange of the Memorandum of Understanding on grant of 70 scholarships to Vietnamese students between Western Sydney University and Đại học Tây Sydney (UWS) and University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City
On the occasion, the two Prime Ministers also witnessed the announcement of Vietjet's direct air route connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Brisbane.
After Melbourne and Sydney, Brisbane is the third city of the beautiful country Australia that Vietjet – a low-cost carrier in Viet Nam, has operated direct flights, it's also the first route connecting Vietnam to Brisbane and Queensland state.
The two Prime Ministers also witnessed the announcement of Viet Nam Airlines' Ha Noi-Melbourne-Ha Noi air route.
Currently, Viet Nam Airlines operates four direct air routes from Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City to Sydney and Melbourne with 18 flights per week./.
