Vietjet resumes direct flights from Da Nang, Phu Quoc to Hong Kong
VGP - Budget carrier Vietjet has resumed its direct services from the central coast city of Da Nang and Phu Quoc Island in the southern province of Kien Giang to Hong Kong (China).
There are three weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday on the Phu Quoc-Hong Kong route while there are four weekly flights between Da Nang and Hong Kong on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
Boasting a huge arc of gently curving beach, Da Nang has been named by New Zealand's NZ Herald News as one of the most ideal spots in the world for soaking up the sun.
The renowned Travel + Leisure magazine also voted Da Nang as among the most ideal destinations and best culinary spots in the world.
Meanwhile, Travel+Leisure (Asian edition) ranked Phu Quoc Island 3rd in the list of 23 best destinations to travel in 2023, labelling it "one of the new stars of Viet Nam's tourism".
"Phu Quoc is an enchanting place of white sand beaches, emerald forests dotted with waterfalls, rock pools and caves," Travel+Leisure commented.
Dubbed the "pearl island", more than half of PhuQuoc's area is preserved as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
Reopening the direct Da Nang-Hong Kong and Phu Quoc-Hong Kong routes, Vietjet welcomes people and tourists back on a journey connecting with two of the most famous tourist cities in Viet Nam and Hong Kong.
