Viet Nam to sucessfully pursue development-oriented policies under leadership of top leader To Lam: Czech Ambassador
VGP - Czech Ambassador to Viet Nam Hynek Kmonicek expressed his confidence that under the current leadership of General Secretary To Lam, Viet Nam will continue to strengthen national unity, pursue development-oriented policies, and successfully address the challenges ahead.

In his interview with VGP, the Ambassador said, over the past year, Viet Nam has demonstrated remarkable economic resilience in the context of a rapidly changing and uncertain global environment.
Despite numerous external challenges, the country has maintained solid economic growth and stability, successfully controlled inflation, and continued to generate employment opportunities for its people.
Viet Nam has further strengthened its position as an attractive country for foreign investment, particularly in high-tech manufacturing or electronics, and manufacturing.
Equally noteworthy has been the progress achieved in digital transformation and infrastructure development, alongside with continued efforts to reduce poverty and improve living standards.
These achievements stand as testament to effective governance, strategic long-term planning, and the growing confidence of international partners in Viet Nam's economic potential, he noted.
The 14th National Party Congress represents a pivotal moment in shaping Viet Nam's future development. Viet Nam is entering a new phase with a clear vision and strong determination to further improve the socio-economic conditions of its citizens, promote sustainable growth, and advance modernization.
At the international level, Viet Nam is expected to further enhance its active engagement in multilateral frameworks and international organizations, whereby contributing to regional stability, global peace, and cooperative solutions to shared challenges.
"I also highly appreciate Viet Nam's approach of placing diplomacy alongside national security as a key pillar of its state policy", shared the diplomat.
Solid framework for further deepening Viet Nam-Czech relations
According to the Ambassador, the establishment of a strategic partnership between Viet Nam and the Czech Republic in 2025 marks a significant milestone and creates a solid framework for further deepening bilateral cooperation.
New opportunities are emerging in areas such as industrial production, clean and renewable energy, healthcare, and advanced technologies, where Czech expertise corresponds well with Viet Nam's development priorities.
There is also considerable potential to expand cooperation in education, scientific research, innovation, and skilled workforce development. Furthermore, strengthening cooperation in defence, security, and international diplomacy can contribute not only to the mutual interests of both nations, but also to regional stability and international security.
"We can develop mutual action plan for our strategic partnership, and further opportunities for cooperation may emerge after a high-level visit expected to take place later this year", told Kmonicek.
Sharing his memorable experience on celebrating Tet in Viet Nam, the Ambassador said, Tet represents one of the most important and meaningful traditions in Viet Nam, representing core values of Vietnamese nation such as family unity, respect for cultural heritage, and positivity for the future. It is a time of reflection, renewal, and solidarity.
"On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, I would like to express my sincere and warmest wishes to the Vietnamese people for health, happiness, prosperity, and success. May the new year bring peace, harmony, and new achievements to Vietnam and its people", told the diplomat./.
