Viet Nam to provide additional US$350,000 in humanitarian aid for Palestine
VGP - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son announced an additional humanitarian aid package of US$350,000 for the Palestinian people via relevant international organizations.

This contribution aims to help alleviate the hardships faced by the Palestinian people and support the reconstruction process in the country.
Bui announced the donation at the Fourth Conference on Cooperation Among East Asian Countries for Palestinian Development (CEAPAD IV) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on July 11.
CEAPAD, a cooperation mechanism initiated by Japan in 2013, with the participation of East Asian countries (including ASEAN nations, South Korea and Japan), targets to enhance the support for Palestine.
Viet Nam has proactively and actively supported Palestine through political and diplomatic backing, humanitarian aid, human resource training while proposing concrete initiatives to assist the Palestinian authorities.
The Vietnamese diplomat reaffirmed the country's consistent stance of supporting an equal, comprehensive, and long-term solution to the Palestinian issue, including the establishment of an independent and sovereign State of Palestine, with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the pre-1967 borders and in accordance with relevant United Nations resolutions.
He emphasized Viet Nam's readiness to work closely with partners, including East Asian countries, to mobilize resources, share development experience, and support capacity building for the State and people of Palestine./.
