Viet Nam strives to reduce at least 20 percent of internal administrative procedures prior to 2025
VGP - Ministries and ministerial-level agencies are tasked to reduce at least 20 percent of internal administrative procedures and 20 percent of administrative procedure compliance costs from now to January 1, 2025.
This is part of the Government's latest plan to review and simplify internal administrative procedures among state administrative agencies during 2022-2025 period.
Prior to April 1, 2023, all of the internal administrative procedures under the authority of ministries, agencies and localities will be announced (for the first time) while all of the internal administrative procedures within State administrative agencies will be publicized on the National Database on Administrative Procedures.
Meanwhile, ministries, agencies and localities are obligated to adopt plans on simplification of 100 percent of administrative procedures before January 1, 2025.
In 2021, Viet Nam reduced and simplified 1,101 business regulations, approved the plan to reduce and simplify 924 regulations, and amended and supplemented 166 legal documents./.
