Viet Nam seeks to reduce trade gap with Indonesia
VGP - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested Indonesian President Joko Widodo take measures to help reduce Viet Nam’s trade deficit with Indonesia.

The Vietnamese Government chief made the above suggestion on November 11 at his meeting with Indonesian President Joko Widodo on the sidelines of the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on Friday morning.
Viet Nam, said the Prime Minister, always respects and expects to further booost the traditional ties and strategic partnership with Indonesia.
The two leaders agreed to direct respective ministries and sectors to implement the reached agreements especially the Action Plan for the 2019-2023 period.
The pair also hailed the close coordination between the two countries at international forums especially the ASEAN and UN.
They agreed to work with each other to consolidate solidarity and uphold ASEAN’s central role and handle new emerging challenges in the world./.
