Viet Nam, Russia sign MoU on cooperation in anti-corruption
VGP - A memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the Government Inspectorate of Viet Nam and Russia's Presidential Civil Service, Personnel and Anti-Corruption Directorate was signed in Ha Noi on December 3.

The document was inked in the presence of Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and Aide to the Russian President Dmitry Mironov.
Under the MoU, the two sides will coordinate in organizing short- and medium-term training courses, professional seminars, and exchanges of practical experience in anti-corruption work, while also facilitating collaboration between local-level agencies, thereby contributing to deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
The signing of the MoU not only marks a new step forward in anti-corruption cooperation between Viet Nam and the Russian Federation, but also demonstrates Viet Nam's strong determination in implementing key tasks on anti-corruption, towards building a modern, transparent, and effective administration that serves the people.
During the meeting between the two officials on the same day, the Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the areas of cooperation and the content of the recently-inked MoU.
The Government of Viet Nam and the Central Steering Committee for Prevention and Control of Corruption, Wastefulness and Negative Phenomena always give the highest support to the bilateral cooperation in anti-corruption, said Nguyen.
Maxim, for his side, expected that the two nation will strengthen cooperation in experience sharing and personnel training, organizing professional seminars, developing transparent database systems, managing public assets, and combatting corruption in both the private and state sectors./.
