Viet Nam's consistent policy is to respect and ensure freedom of belief and religion, she underlined.
In Viet Nam, no one is discriminated against religion or belief, and the activities of religious organizations shall be guaranteed in accordance with the country's Constitution and legal system, and is respected in practice, asserted the diplomat.
Viet Nam's policies, efforts, and achievements in ensuring human rights, including freedom of religion and belief, have been recognized and highly appreciated by many countries.
Viet Nam will continue to engage in exchanges with the U.S. on issues of mutual concern in a frank, open, and mutually respectful manner, contributing to the promotion of the Viet Nam–U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for peace, cooperation, and sustainable development, said Pham./.
