Amon spoke highly of Viet Nam's vision, determination, and strong policies to promote growth and development of science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, semiconductors and AI, and to build an economy driven by knowledge and advanced technologies.

He expressed his strong impression of the Southeast Asian nation's remarkable development achievements in recent years, adding that these results demonstrated the country's growing appeal to the international business community.

Qualcomm considers Viet Nam an important market and technology hub in Asia, noted the guest.

With more than US$100 billion invested in R&D globally, Qualcomm seeks to leverage its core technological capabilities, research network and international partner ecosystem to expand cooperation in Viet Nam in areas including AI, semiconductors, 5G and 6G, connected computing and next-generation technology infrastructure.

Qualcomm expects to promote collaboration, investment and its long-term presence in Viet Nam, and to strengthen ties with Vietnamese agencies, businesses, research institutes and universities in research, high-quality human resources training, technology transfer and the development of next-generation technologies, shared Amon.

To, for his part, hailed Qualcomm's expansion of its operations, investment in R&D, support for innovation, and contributions to the development of Viet Nam's technology ecosystem over the past more than 20 years, remarkably the establishment of an R&D center in Ha Noi.

The top Vietnamese leader also urged the tech giant to step up technology transfer and share management expertise, expand cooperation with Vietnamese businesses, universities and research institutes, and support Vietnamese enterprises in enhancing their technological capabilities and participating more deeply in global technology value and supply chains./.
