Viet Nam, Iran should join hands in consolidating connectivity in four areas
VGP - National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue suggested Viet Nam and Iran work together to foster connectivity in four aspects, namely dialogue and cooperation mechanisms; digital, science technology and transport; trade and investment; and humans.
The top Vietnamese legislator made the point while delivering a speech titled “Viet Nam-Iran cooperation for peace and development at the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS), as part of his ongoing official visit to Iran on August 10 (local time).
The connectivity in the four proposed aspects will serve for a future of peace and development with a vision to the next 50 years for the bilateral relationship, he said.
Viet Nam is implementing its consistent foreign policy of relation multilateralization and diversification and is willing to be a trustworthy friend and partner of all countries around the world for peace, friendship, cooperation and development, said Vuong.
Earlier, the NA Chairman joined Iranian officials to launch a photo exhibition featuring 50 years of the Viet Nam-Iran relations.
The Viet Nam Culture Week also kicked off in Iran on August 9 night (local time), with the attendance of top Vietnamese legistor Vuong.
The event, jointly held by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran and some Iranian agencies, marks the 50th founding anniversary of the diplomatic ties between the two countries (1973-2023)./.
