Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and Chinese Director of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee Foreign Affairs Commission Office cum Foreign Minister Wang Yi will co-chair the meeting.

The top Chinese diplomat's trip to Viet Nam will be made at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang.

Earlier, in August this year, Tran and Wang had a meeting in Yunnan province, as part of the Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister's visit to China to attend the 7th China-South Asia Expo and the 27th Kunming Import and Export Fair.

Both sides expressed their satisfactions on positive achievements in Viet Nam-China relations, especially after Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's official visit to China in November last year.

The Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister suggested that the two sides foster close coordination, promote the concretization of high-level common perceptions, and actively prepare for all-level delegation exchange activities in the upcoming time.

Tran underlined the need to enhance trade cooperation in a more sustainable manner and strengthen connection of railway and road transport infrastructure.

Wang Yi, for his part, emphasized that China treasures developing the friendly neighborliness with Viet Nam, willing to work closely with Viet Nam to prepare for upcoming high-ranking visits.

He pledged to continue upholding the effectiveness of cooperation mechanisms between the two nations, particularly the Viet Nam-China Steering Committee for Bilateral Cooperation mechanism.

China stands ready to support Viet Nam to realize its economic development goals set by the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, Wang said.

He called on both sides to bolster collaboration at international and regional forums./.
