Viet Nam, Belarus should boost cooperation in automobile manufacturing for export: Lukashenko
VGP – President Aleksander Lukashenko suggested Viet Nam and Belarus should boost cooperation in automobile manufacturing for export.
Lukashenko made the above suggestion during his meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on the sidelines of the expanded BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia on October 24.
Lukashenko took the occasion to extend congratulations to Viet Nam's newly-elected President Luong Cuong, expressing his impressions on the Southeast Asian country's socio-economic achievements and its increasingly consolidated prestige and position on the international arena.
Belarus always attaches importance to developing cooperation across fields with Viet Nam, Lukashenko affirmed.
For his part, Prime Minister Pham reassured Viet Nam always treasures the traditional friendship and cooperation with Belarus, considering Belarus a trusted friend and partner of Viet Nam.
Pham urged the two countries to better exploit the potential for economic and trade cooperation and to continue reviewing and consolidating legal framework for bilateral cooperation.
The two leaders agreed to continue close coordination at multilateral forums, especially the United Nations and regional organizations to which both sides are members.
