At the NSE, the top Vietnamese leader visited the exchange's National Trading Operations Center, Technology Operations Center, and Cybersecurity Operations Center.
Chairperson on the Governing Board of the NSE Srinivas Injeti said, the visit reflects the growing importance of the bilateral cooperation, expressing confidence that Vietnamese businesses will receive strong interest from Indian investors.
Both Viet Nam and India are among the world's fast-growing economies, with young populations, outward-looking policies, and growth driven by manufacturing and technology, he noted.
The two countries place capital markets at the center of their development journeys, shared Injeti, adding that the bilateral trade turnover has exceeded US$16 billion and continues to grow steadily.
The NSE stands ready to support Viet Nam's capital market development journey and welcomes Vietnamese businesses seeking opportunities to access capital in India, asserted Injeti.
The NSE is the world's largest derivatives exchange by trading volume, with a total market capitalization of around US$5 trillion and more than 130 million investors./.
