Viet Nam, India exchange 13 cooperation agreements
VGP – General Secretary and President To Lam and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi witnessed the exchange of 13 cooperation agreements between Viet Nam and India in New Delhi on May 6.
These documents include:
1. The Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in digital technologies between the Ministry of Science and Technology of Viet Nam and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of India.
This MoU deepens bilateral commitment to strengthen cooperation in Digital Technologies and IT domain.
2. The Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of medical product regulation.
The MoU seeks to establish a framework for cooperation in the field of medical products regulation, including pharmaceuticals, biological products, medical devices, and cosmetics.
3. Cultural exchange program between Viet Nam and India for the 2026-2030 period.
4. The Memorandum of Understanding on tourism cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Viet Nam and the Ministry of Tourism of India.
5. The Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of friendly and cooperative relations between Ho Chi Minh City of Viet Nam and Mumbai City of India.
6. The Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of public audit sector between the State Audit of Viet Nam and the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.
This MoU renews the 2010 MoU between the two Audit institutions of India and Viet Nam and makes it more flexible and dynamic.
7. The Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the fields of payment systems and digital payment innovation between the State Bank of Viet Nam and the Reserve Bank of India.
The MoU aims to establish a framework for cooperation in the area of financial innovation and digital payments.
8. The Memorandum of Understanding between the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics of Viet Nam and Nalanda University of India.
This MoU strengthens the longstanding initiatives of India to facilitate capacity building & training to Vietnam.
9. The Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Ha Noi National University of Viet Nam, and the Council for Cultural Relations of India.
10. The Memorandum of Understanding between Da Nang University of Viet Nam and the Council for Cultural Exchanges of India.
The MoU establishes an ICCR Chair in India Studies in the University of Da Nang in Viet Nam.
11. The Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in promoting linkages for retail payment platforms via QR Codes between the National Payment Corporation of Viet Nam and the National Payments Corporation of India.
This MoU establishes institutional linkages between the two countries on Cross Border QR code interoperability to enable payments.
12. The Memorandum of Understanding between the Institute for Technology of Radioactive and Rare Elements of Viet Nam and the IREL of India.
This MoU formalizes the long-standing commitment on both sides to expand bilateral cooperation in the areas of rare earth elements, among other new-age technologies.
13. The Memorandum of Understanding between Gyan Bharatam, Ministry of Culture and University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (USSH, VNUHCM) on Digitization of Cham Manuscripts
The MoU establishes institutional linkages between the Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts and USSH, VNUHCM for survey, documentation, conservation, digitisation and online dissemination of Cham manuscripts of Indian origin currently preserved in Viet Nam.
