Following the welcome ceremony, both sides held talks and witnessed the exchange of cooperation documents between their ministries and agencies.
Over the 55 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Viet Nam and Switzerland have become reliable and effective partners across various fields. Political trust has continued to strengthen via reciprocal visits and high-level meetings, thereby helping build mutual trust and establish a favorable framework for promoting bilateral cooperation.
In January 2025, the two countries established a Comprehensive Partnership, marking a new milestone in bilateral relations.
President Parmelin's visit is of great significance as both sides are celebrating the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. It provides a foundation for the two countries to enter a new phase of cooperation./.
