State leader extends Mid-Autumn Festival wishes to children
VGP - State President Luong Cuong has sent warm greetings to children at home and abroad on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, affirming that the Party and State always devote special attention to ensuring the best conditions for children to study, play safely, and grow up comprehensively.

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Full-Moon Festival, is a joyous occasion for children, celebrated annually on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month. This year, it falls on October 6.
In his letter dated on October 3, the President conveyed his heartfelt wishes to all Vietnamese children worldwide.
His message of hope and encouragement comes as many families are still coping with the severe impacts of the recent typhoon Bualoi. He expressed his deepest sympathy to children and families affected by the typhoon.
The President wished children a joyful, meaningful, safe, and warm festival alongside their families, teachers, and friends. He encouraged disadvantaged children and those in flood- and storm-hit areas to remain resilient, keep their bright and innocent smiles, and nurture their dreams so that when the storms pass, their lives will again be filled with light and happiness.
He voiced his belief that, with the care and support of the Party and State as well as the solidarity, compassion, and protection of the entire nation, affected children and families will overcome hardships, soon stabilize their lives, and continue pursuing their studies and aspirations.
Reiterating the consistent attention given to children, the President expressed hope that they will maintain their love of learning, remain diligent and kind, stay united, support one another, and grow together to contribute to building a more prosperous and civilized Vietnam.

A series of activities is being held in Ha Noi’s Old Quarter from September 22 to October 12 to celebrate the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival 2025.
The opening ceremony took place at 3pm on September 25 at the Arts and Culture Centre, 22 Hang Buom street, where visitors have a chance immerse themselves in the nostalgic charm of traditional Mid-Autumn toys. They will also have the chance to learn how to make star-shaped lanterns, paper doctors, bamboo dragonflies, and other items.
A highlight of the event was the introduction of a project to restore the traditional lion head by researcher Kevin Vuong, marking the return of the northern Vietnamese lion head, a Mid-Autumn toy closely tied to the childhood memories of many generations./.
