Seven Vietnamese universities named in THE World University Rankings 2024

VGP - Viet Nam, for the first time, has seven universities named in the Times Higher Education (THE)’s 2024 edition of World University Rankings.

Duy Tan University in the central city of Da Nang is placed between 601st and 800th in the Times Higher Education (THE)’s 2024 edition of World University Rankings

Duy Tan University in the central city of Da Nang and Ton Duc Thang University located in Ho Chi Minh City, were placed between 601st and 800th, while Viet Nam National University, Ha Noi (VNU) was ranked in 1,201st-1,500th.

Viet Nam National University–Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), Ha Noi University of Science and Technology (HUST), and Hue University were in the 1,501st. 

Ho Chi Minh City Open University was listed with "reporter" status. 

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024 include 1,904 universities across 108 countries and regions.

The table includes 18 carefully calibrated performance indicators that measure an institution's performance across five areas: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry, and international outlook.

This year's ranking analyzed more than 134 million citations across 16.5 million research publications and included survey responses from 68,402 scholars globally./.
