Muan International Airport resumes flights from/to Viet Nam since July, 2022

The air routes to be reopened will connect the Korean locality with three destinations in Viet Nam including the central city of Da Nang, Nha Trang City in the central province of Khanh Hoa, and Da Lat City in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong.

Viet Nam welcomed 172,900 visitors in May, representing a month-on-month increase of 70.6 percent, up 12.8 times against the same period last year, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).

In the first five months, the country greeted 365,300 foreign arrivals, or a 4.5 fold rise against the same period last year.

The RoK had the largest number of visitors to Viet Nam. As of the end of April, 28,600 Koreans visited Viet Nam for tourism purposes, up 195 percent over the same period last year.

From April 27, Viet Nam scrapped the medical declaration requirement for all foreign entrants.

Starting from mid-May, the country also removed its pre-departure COVID-19 testing rule.

The Southeast Asian nation targets five million foreign tourists this year.
