In a recent interview with VGP, the diplomat said, digital transformation, green transition, and infrastructure development are strongly pursued in Viet Nam and proven to accelerate economic growth, and long-term national competitiveness.

Social welfare policies and poverty reduction efforts have delivered tangible improvements, reinforcing social stability and inclusive development nationwide, she noted.

"I strongly believe that Viet Nam would further advance economic achievements while maintaining social development, political stability, and sustainable development in the new era with the Vietnamese people at the centre", shared Sriphiromya.

According to the diplomat, Viet Nam becomes a shining example for stronger institutional reforms, and innovation-driven growth that will enhance Viet Nam's position in global ranking.

She expressed her belief that Viet Nam's active international integration will continue to contribute positively to peace, cooperation, and prosperity in the region and beyond.

Historic milestone for Thai-Vietnamese bilateral relations

Regarding new opportunities for bilateral cooperation, the Ambassador said the upgrade of the bilateral ties into a comprehensive strategic partnership last year opens deeper cooperation in supply chains, digital economy, renewable energy, and sustainable development that are mutually beneficial.

She expected that in the upcoming time, tourism and people-to-people connectivity will further expand, strengthening mutual understanding and deeper ties.

Besides, enhanced coordination at regional and multilateral forums enables both countries to contribute to ASEAN's unity and resilience while facing external challenges.

The diplomat noted that this year marks a historic milestone for Thai-Vietnamese bilateral relations as both countries celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

"Our close and cordial friendship was formed on the solid foundation laid by H.E. former President Ho Chi Minh during his stay in Thailand. We have a strong bond from the ties between our peoples. The three memorial sites of H.E. Ho Chi Minh in Thailand and the Viet Nam town in Udorn Thani province stand as a testament to this special friendship", shared the Ambassador.

She unveiled that the two nations share the same development goals and attach great importance to transformation to digital economy and sustainable development.

There are great opportunities that both the two Governments and peoples would further enhance cooperation in all fields for mutual prosperity and long lasting close and cordial friendship between Thailand and Viet Nam.

Sharing her memorable experience during Tet holiday in Viet Nam, the diplomat said, celebrating Tet in Viet Nam deeply reflects warmth, family values, cultural continuity, and the enduring spirit of renewal and hope.

"I am always touched by the hospitality, traditional customs, and festive atmosphere that make Tet uniquely meaningful. I sincerely wish the Vietnamese people good health, prosperity, harmony, and continued success in the Year ahead", told the diplomat./.
