Viet Nam acknowledged that the U.S. Department of State recently removed Cuba from the list of countries "not fully cooperating" with anti-terrorism efforts. However, the U.S. has not removed Cuba from the list of countries that the U.S. considers sponsors of terrorism, she said.
Up to now, Viet Nam's consistent stance is to strongly support the resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly requiring the U.S. to end embargo against Cuba, she noted.
Viet Nam hopes the U.S. will take the necessary steps to fully normalize relations with Cuba, contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in Latin America and the world, she stressed./.
