Le Thanh Long confirmed as new Deputy Prime Minister
VGP - Le Thanh Long, Minister of Justice, was confirmed by the National Assembly on Thursday as new Deputy Prime Minister.

Le Thanh Long was born on September 23, 1963 in Quang Tho commune, Quang Xuong district (now Sam Son city), Thanh Hoa province.
From 1987 to 2011, Le Thanh Long worked at the Ministry Justice and studied MA and PhD abroad.
From October 2011 to March 2014, he served as Deputy Minister of Justice.
From March, 2014 – October, 2015, he was Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee.
From October 2015 to April, 2016, he was Deputy Minister of Justice.
From April 2016 to June 6, 2024, he served as Minister of Justice.
With the latest appointment, the Government comprises four Deputy Prime Ministers, namely Tran Hong Ha, Le Minh Khai, Tran Luu Quang and Le Thanh Long./.
