
The Committee is headed by Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang, who is assisted by Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Long as the deputy head.
Members of the Committee include Deputy Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy Nguyen Duc Thai, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Pham Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of National Defense Nguyen Van Gau, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Quoc Tri, Deputy Minister of Finance Tran Quoc Phuong, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui Hoang Phuong and Vice Chairman of the Government Cipher Committee Nguyen Dang Luc.
The Committee shall put forward amendments to mechanisms, policies, standards, technical regulations, and operational procedures to support the digitization of records, digital signing, and the exchange and sharing of data for criminal proceedings and criminal judgments enforcement.
It will direct the implementation of digital transformation plans, projects, and tasks to ensure connectivity, interoperability, and data sharing; ensure information safety and security, protect state secrets and monitor the use of documents in accordance with regulations.
The digital transformation project in criminal proceedings and criminal judgment enforcement, approved last March, aims to ensure that the management of records and documents in criminal proceedings and criminal judgments enforcement is implemented in a unified and interconnected manner across all stages, including investigation, prosecution, adjudication, execution of temporary detention and custody, and enforcement of criminal judgments, while meeting requirements for cybersecurity, information security, and data safety.
According to the project, by the end of 2027, all of eligible documents and case files will be digitized and managed uniformly in electronic case files./.
