The plan aims to enhance digital transformation capacity of SMEs through support packages, with a view to promoting substantive and comprehensive digital transformation, improving productivity, strengthening resilience to market fluctuations, and enabling deeper participation in regional and global value chains.

By 2030, at least 500,000 SMEs will receive support through the activities of the program such as assessments of digital readiness, pilot testing and application of digital transformation products and solutions, digital transformation consulting, training, and capacity-building for digital skills.

Among those, at least 300,000 SMEs will be assisted in applying digital technology products and solutions, digital platforms, and artificial intelligence.

Meanwhile, a group of 200 exemplary SMEs in digital transformation will be formed in key sectors and fields such as science and technology, processing and manufacturing industries, agriculture, healthcare, trade, logistics, finance, education, and tourism.

In addition, a network of digital transformation consultants will be formulated with the participation of at least 500 organizations and individuals that meet criteria on professional capacity and practical experience to accompany and support SMEs.

To realize the above goals, key tasks include improving the institutional and policy framework to support SMEs in digital transformation, developing infrastructure to support digital transformation of SMEs and helping SMEs in digital transformation and developing the digital ecosystem./.
