On September 16, the 34th edition of the WorldFood Moscow international food exhibition opened at the Crocus Expo Center in Moscow, Russian Federation.
The event brought together more than 1,000 units and businesses from over 30 countries and 60 Russian regions. Remarkably, 65 Vietnamese companies took part in this year's fair.
Vietnamese enterprises presented a wide range of key agricultural exports, including rice, coffee, cashews, pepper, confectionery, fresh fruit, fruit-based processed products, and other organic foods.
Notably, internationally certified food-safety and organic products left a strong impression on visitors.
Russia remains a traditional yet highly promising market, with growing demand for agricultural imports from Asia.
As the Viet Nam–Russia comprehensive strategic partnership continues to expand, promoting and exporting Viet Nam's agricultural strengths not only diversifies Russia's supply sources but also enables Vietnamese businesses to build brand value, assert their reputation, and secure a foothold in an underexplored market.
Speaking at the opening of Viet Nam's pavilion, Deputy Director General of the Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Hoang Minh Chien, underlined that the strong and diverse presence of Vietnamese firms reflects their determination to enhance brand image, affirm competitiveness, and penetrate deeper into global supply chains.
Chien also expressed hope that Vietnamese and Russian enterprises would act proactively and creatively to transform cooperation opportunities at the fair into concrete projects and contracts.
Additionally, he stressed that the Ministry of Industry and Trade stands ready to provide maximum support for these initiatives.
From the Russian side, Aleksander Ezhov, Director of WorldFood Moscow 2025, highlighted the long-standing friendship between Russia and Viet Nam and the sound policies of both countries in promoting bilateral trade growth.
Ezhov noted that economic and trade ties are showing positive momentum, clearly demonstrated by the strong turnout of Vietnamese companies this year.
He also voiced confidence that Viet Nam–Russia trade cooperation will continue to flourish in the coming period./.
