The Government chief urged the leaders of Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong to take necessary measures to ensure the safety of residents, placing the protection of people's lives as the top priority.

The Prime Minister asked for mobilizing the military, police, and other forces by all means to immediately reach residential areas isolated by flooding or landslides in order to provide assistance to residents, deliver food, essential supplies, and evacuate those in need to ensure their safety.

Forces must be deployed to direct traffic, preventing people from passing through dangerous or unsafe areas, especially on routes at risk of landslides, in deeply flooded areas, or where water is flowing rapidly.

As of November 17, heavy rains, floods, and landslides in central localities have left 12 dead and missing, alongside 19 injuries./.
