Prime Minister starts official visit to Romania
VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his entourage arrived in Bucharest on January 20 (local time), starting his official visit to Romania at the invatation of Ion-Marcel Ciolacu.
Pham was welcomed at the Henri Coanda international airport by Romanian Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism Stefan Radu Oprea, Vietnamese Ambassador to Romania Do Duc Thanh.
Pham's Romania is the first high-level delegation exchange between the two countries over the past five years.
During his visit, Pham is expected to meet with President Klaus Werner Iohannis and Prime Minister Ion-Marcel Ciolacu, attend Viet Nam-Romania Business Forum among other activities.
The visit aims to further deepen the traditional friendship and multi-faceted cooperation betwween Viet Nam and Romania, and reinforce bilateral cooperation in such fields of Romania's strengths and Viet Nam's demand like agriculture, processing and manufacturing, and healthcare, contributing to fostering relations between Viet Nam and the European Union./.
